Supporting media up to 8.66″ (220 mm) wide and roll diameters up to 10″ (250 mm), both the unwinder and rewinder use a fixed 3″ core holder, the industry standard for label rolls. The printer mounts securely on a dedicated baseplate (JPL-6500A), locking all components into alignment for stable, reliable operation.

 

A tension-arm control system automatically regulates the rotation speed and direction of each unit, responding instantly to printer movement for smooth media flow. The external 100–240 VAC power supply (24 V DC output) ensures dependable performance, while the intuitive control panel allows manual speed adjustment and face-in or face-out rewinding. For heavier rolls, the included “L”-shaped support bracket adds extra stability, making this system an ideal choice for demanding production environments.
