The Vastex PTF-100 DTF Powder-to-Film system and D-100 Dryer Combo not only uniformly coats DTF films with adhesive powder but also cures it all in one! Completely eliminate dusting and spillage along with reducing waste while improving DTF printing performance and operator safety.
To operate, a filled cartridge is inserted at the top of the unit, and an empty cartridge at the bottom. An operator positions the wet DTF printed film on the application tray, print side up. Once the polycarbonate door is closed tightly, the operator can adjust the angle of the powder deflector and the amount of powder to be released.
With each cycle, the user pulls a lever to release the desired amount of powder, then pushes it to start the timer/vibration. The top cartridge releases adhesive powder which rains down on the film, ensuring complete and even coverage. When empty, the upper cartridge can be switched quickly and cleanly with the lower cartridge containing all excess powder, reducing exposure while eliminating waste and allowing continuous production until refilling is needed.

Below are recommended settings for curing DTF sheets. Testing was done on RB Onyx DTF film and powder. And RB Vibra DTF ink. (Note: these settings are to be used as a starting point. Settings may vary depending on which DTF film, powder and ink is used)
After powder is applied, place your printed DTF sheet on the Vastex D-100 conveyor dryer (Allow to fully heat up for approximately 10-15 min)
- Set heat at 5.5
- Set belt speed at 15 - Media takes about 2.5 min to go through
- You will have good results with Exhaust on or off

Variable controls for both heat intensity and conveyor speed allow fine-tuning of the drying process according to ink type, ink coverage, desired cure temperature, and rate at which items are being screen printed, or coated with DTF adhesives.
The heater can be raised, lowered and pivoted using lock knobs on the sides of the heating chamber according to the thickness of printed garments and/or the angle of printed images on irregularly shaped items, for uniform curing of the printed area using minimum energy. Heater shields are included as standard to maximize edge-to-edge temperature consistency for increased image quality.
Dense coil pattern, heater shields and a 6.35 watt per sq in (0.98 watt per sq cm) infrared heater eliminate hot and cold spots and provide the power you need to get the job done.
