Conçu pour une longue durée de vie et une performance maximale, le Radicure D™ est le séchoir tunnel électrique à infrarouge haut de gamme de M&R pour la sérigraphie. Il est disponible en largeurs de tapis de 91 à 152 cm (36” à 60”). Non seulement il possède la plus grande capacité de production de sa catégorie, mais il est aussi le plus économe en énergie. L'isolation thermique haute résistance du système isolant à tissu suspendu breveté de M&R (brevet américain n° 6 161 304 ; brevet britannique n° GB2357827B) empêche la chaleur de se propager dans l'espace de travail, et la technologie CoolSkin™ de M&R permet aux parois du séchoir de rester froides au toucher. Les panneaux radiants peuvent être rapidement et facilement abaissés ou relevés grâce à un réglage de hauteur pratique en un seul point. Les taux de séchage rapides et le débit élevé maximisent la capacité du tunnel de séchage et minimisent le coût par unité.

Le séchage est assuré par un réseau de panneaux radiants infrarouges et par de l'air chaud pulsé. Des ventilateurs dédiés distincts alimentent la circulation et l'extraction. La commande proportionnelle intégrale dérivée (PID) du Radicure D permet au séchoir de monter progressivement en puissance afin d'éviter les pics d'ampérage lors du préchauffage initial. La commande PID permet également de maintenir des températures uniformes pendant la production en s'activant et se désactivant progressivement plutôt que d'utiliser une approche « pleine charge / aucune charge ». Le panneau de commande permet de surveiller et d'ajuster facilement l'état opérationnel, la température et les réglages de vitesse du tapis. Les températures de processus et les températures de consigne sont contrôlées numériquement. La commande PID réagit aux changements de température ambiante en maintenant la chaleur de la chambre de séchage à 1° près de la température cible au niveau du thermocouple.

Le moteur à entraînement CA à fréquence variable, robuste et fiable du Radicure D alimente le tapis Patriot Belt™ en fibre de verre recouvert de Téflon de M&R, doté du système de rouleaux SureTrak™. Le guide en silicone rouge cousu le long d'un bord du Patriot Belt™ glisse dans les rainures usinées des grands rouleaux en aluminium anodisé SureTrak™, maintenant le tapis parfaitement en place. Il s'agit du système de guidage de tapis de séchoir le plus précis disponible (brevet américain en instance). L'entretien est simplifié grâce à des filtres et des points de lubrification facilement accessibles. Un voyant lumineux indique quand les températures sont conformes aux paramètres définis par l'utilisateur, et une séquence d'arrêt automatique maintient le ventilateur et le tapis en fonctionnement jusqu'à ce que la chambre du tunnel de séchage ait refroidi.
