General Formulations GF 100 is a 3.0 mil gloss clear calendered vinyl laminate designed to protect printed graphics from abrasion, moisture, and everyday wear. Featuring a permanent acrylic adhesive on a smooth 53# liner, GF 100 applies easily using the cold laminating process without heat. With its high-gloss finish, this laminate is ideal for enhancing digital and screen-printed images used in exhibits, displays, and short-term promotional graphics.
While durable for up to one year, GF 100 is recommended for flat or slightly curved applications and is not intended for vehicle wraps, conformable surfaces, or long-term outdoor use. For best results, pair GF 100 with calendered print vinyls of similar construction to ensure consistent shrinkage and avoid delamination.

Can GF 100 laminate be used on any kind of vehicle graphics?
No. GF 100 is ideal for flat or very slight curves. In the cases of vehicles, it is best to use a comformable, long-term laminate that matches the specifications of the wrap (print) vinyl used. GF 100 Series laminates are meant for applications where up to one year of durability is needed. GF 100 series laminates are not meant to be stretched or to conform.

Will a Calendered laminate like GF 100 work on a Cast print vinyl?
No. You can apply a cast laminate to a calendered vinyl, but you should never put a calendered laminate on a cast vinyl. They must be of a similar construction so that over time they shrink at the same rate to avoid delamination.
