Frequently Asked Questions
-
Does GF 765 have any shim lines as seen on other holographic films?
Yes, the 60” wide rolls contain a shim line at 30” in machine direction (center of the roll) and a less noticeable, repeating, line every 12” running cross-web or across the width of the roll.
-
Why are lines seen on the face of the film?
To create the holographic look, the film goes through an embossing process. During this process, one or more metal shims are mounted around the circumference of a round embossing cylinder leaving behind a visible line on the material surface.
